FnO offers the ability to create Groups and Bins to help consolidate data into a more presentable or meaningful visualization. This system has more detail and walks through the process of creating Groups and Bins. Looking at Bins and Groups in a Power FnO model using a tool like SQL Server Management Studio, there is no magic behind them. They are implemented in DAX. This means that you could recreate a lot of what you would typically do in the UI with Power Query or DAX.
A Warehouse layout can be further divided into:
Zone groups, Zones, Location profiles, Location types, and Locations (lowest level of location information).
Navigation – Warehouse management > Setup > Warehouse > Location types
Steps: Create location type and give description
Navigation – Warehouse management > Setup > Warehouse > Location profiles
Steps:
1.Create location profile (Bin Groups)
2. Select location type in General (fast tab) > Location Type field
3. Select location profile in Location Profile Id: Warehouse management > Setup > Warehouse > Locations > Location Profile Id.
